Elections 2009 is marked by increase in professionals entering the electoral foray for the first time. Meera Sanyal, graduate of the AMP program at Harvard Business School, has chosen to be an Independent candidate and this session is hear about her path from business to politics.�

Meera H Sanyal started her banking career in 1984. She joined ABN Amro in 1992 as Head of Structured Finance and rose to the position of Chairperson and Country Executive. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, UK and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. She also completed the Advanced Management Programme from Harvard Business School.

Note: Both clubs invited multiple candidates to address members at the same time but were unable to secure additional speakers due to their conflicting campaign schedules.
